Job summary

Mahoney | CPAs and Advisors is seeking an Associate to deliver high-quality accounting and bookkeeping services for a diverse client base. You will prepare financial statements, perform reconciliations, maintain records, and support client engagements using QuickBooks Desktop and Online.

You'll work with Excel and other tools to analyze financial information, assist with reporting, and contribute to a responsive service experience.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform the core duties outlined above.
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and perform account and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and complete bookkeeping functions.
• Prepare workpapers supporting client deliverables and firm quality standards.
• Develop proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online and assist with client questions.

Skills

Proven ability to perform core duties

1-3 years accounting experience

Education

Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance

Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting/Finance
