Job summary

KerberRose S.C. in Wisconsin is seeking an Accounting Associate to handle day-to-day accounts payable, vendor maintenance, and employee expense reimbursements while supporting month-end close and client billing.

You will work with the Finance team to ensure accurate financial records, maintain vendor data, and help prepare reconciliations, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to learn Firm’s financial and practice-management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor invoices; code and route for approval with supporting documentation.
• Maintain vendor records, W-9s, and ACH information; establish vendor records.
• Process employee expense reimbursements with receipts and approvals.
• Assist month-end close, reconciliations, and client billing; prepare journal entries.
• Support Form 1099 reporting and annual audits; maintain documentation.
• Respond to staff and leadership inquiries; identify efficiencies and process improvements.
