Job summary

Manay CPA is seeking a knowledgeable accountant to support client onboarding, bookkeeping, and tax return preparation. You will help with accounts payable/receivable, monthly closings, and reporting while maintaining strong client service standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration within a team, adherence to GAAP, and compliance with tax regulations. Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred, with CPA or CPA track encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA track preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of professional bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Experience in a CPA firm is a plus.
• International tax experience is a big plus.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Support client onboarding process for all assigned client engagements in accordance with the defined process.
• Engage in client acquisition and retention initiatives, always providing the highest level of customer service.
• Organize and update financial records as needed (digital and physical).
• Execute processes related to accounts payable/receivable, bookkeeping, monthly close, and preparing financial reporting and analysis; may include payroll.
• Prepare and file Corporate and Individual Income Tax Returns; prepare year-end audit schedules and support the process.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery and excellent accounting support; maintain confidentiality.
