Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) in Tampa, FL is seeking an Associate to join our CAAS (Construction Industry) team across multiple offices: Orlando, Tampa, Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta, or St. Louis.

This role focuses on delivering accurate financial data and supporting project accounting for construction clients. You will coordinate day-to-day transactions, month-end close, and compliance tasks, liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Accounting and financial experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Client Service: handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a regular basis.
• Day to Day Transactions: coordinate and process AP, cash disbursements, AR, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Month End Processing: prepare financial statements and perform account reconciliations.
• Quarterly/Annual Processing: complete sales tax returns, 1099s, and other forms per client requests.

CLA is currently seeking an Associate to join our CAAS (Construction Industry) team based out of one of the following offices: Orlando, FL; Tampa, FL; Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; or St. Louis, MO.

Job Responsibilities:

• Client Service: Gains ability to handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily, weekly and monthly basis.

• Day to Day Transactions: Coordinates & processes accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.

• Month End Processing: Completes financial statements. Coordinates and completes account reconciliations (i.e. bank & credit card reconciliations, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals.) Completes complex account reconciliations that have been previously set up and supported by Senior Associate, Assistant Controller, Controller or CFO.

• Quarterly/Annual Processing: Completes sales tax returns, Form 1099s and other forms or items as requested by clients.
