Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking an Associate to join the CAAS (Construction Industry) team based out of one of the following offices: Orlando, FL; Tampa, FL; Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; or St. Louis, MO.

The role focuses on client service, day-to-day transactions, month-end processing, and quarterly/annual processing to support construction industry clients. Bachelor’s degree is required with accounting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required. A combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Accounting and financial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Client Service: manage multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Day to Day Transactions: coordinate & process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Month End Processing: complete financial statements and reconciliations (bank, credit card, prepaids, A/R, fixed assets, A/P, accruals).
• Quarterly/Annual Processing: complete sales tax returns, Form 1099s and other forms as requested by clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Client Service: Gains ability to handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily, weekly and monthly basis.

• Day to Day Transactions: Coordinates & processes accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.

• Month End Processing: Completes financial statements. Coordinates and completes account reconciliations (i.e. bank & credit card reconciliations, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals.) Completes complex account reconciliations that have been previously set up and supported by Senior Associate, Assistant Controller, Controller or CFO.

• Quarterly/Annual Processing: Completes sales tax returns, Form 1099s and other forms or items as requested by clients.
