CLA is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our CAAS Agribusiness, Food and Beverage team. Office locations include Madison WI, plus others, with responsibility for day-to-day accounting tasks and client service.

Qualifications

• Accounting and financial experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Gains ability to handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Coordinates & processes accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Completes financial statements and reconciliations including bank and credit card, prepaids, AR, fixed assets, accruals.
• Completes sales tax returns, Form 1099s and other forms or items as requested by clients.
