We are seeking an Accounting Associate to join the CAAS Agribusiness, Food and Beverage Industry team based out of our Minneapolis MN office (also in Salinas CA, Austin MN, Madison WI, or Rochester MN).

This role emphasizes client service and day-to-day financial processing, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and month-end close.

Qualifications

• Accounting and financial experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day client transactions including A/P, cash disbursements, A/R, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Perform month-end close including financial statements and reconciliations (bank, credit card, prepaids, fixed assets, accruals).
• Coordinate and complete account reconciliations as needed with supervision.
• Prepare quarterly/annual tax forms such as sales tax returns and Form 1099s.
