Job summary

CLA is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our CAAS Agribusiness, Food and Beverage Industry team based out of our Rochester MN office (also in Salinas CA, Minneapolis MN, Austin MN, Madison WI). You will support client services, processing day-to-day transactions, month-end close, and annual tax handling for diverse agribusiness clients.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and accounting/financial experience is preferred; strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted.
• Accounting or financial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Client service: handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily, weekly and monthly.
• Day to Day Transactions: process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Month End Processing: complete financial statements and account reconciliations.
• Quarterly/Annual Processing: complete sales tax returns and Form 1099s as requested by clients.
