Job summary

Next 150 Construction, a fully owned subsidiary of Gilbane Building Company, is seeking an Accounting Practitioner to partner with our accounting team to perform basic manual and computer related accounting tasks. This role will sit primarily in the office.

You will support AP processing, payroll-related items, and document coding while learning the business and growing with a collaborative team. The position offers competitive benefits and a clear path for early-career development.

Qualifications

• Entry level - 1 year experience in accounting or related field.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Scan AP invoices.
• Process payments, invoices and vouchers.
• Extract specified information or add standard coding to documents.
• Compile simple summaries of processed documents.
• Manage timesheet collection, approval and payroll-related items.
• Locate and extract information from files and records.
• Assist Senior Accounting Practitioner under close supervision.
