Radnor, PA (Airgas HO) - ManagementJOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Associate is responsible for depositing incoming payments from employees, vendors, and customers. The Associate will regularly interact with the BSC; customers and vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Primarily responsible for scanning incoming payments or returned Airgas checks received in the Radnor office from customers, vendors, and employees into Airgas’s bank account.
Reviews and logs payments into Google Spreadsheet, and copies the checks into a shared Google file with the BSC for coding.
Remailing or shredding of Airgas checks when deemed necessary by the BSC.
Place outbound phone calls to customers and vendors to reroute future payments via ACH.
Scan invoices received by vendors into open text and coordinate with vendors to change the mode of invoicing to email.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required Education:
High School Diploma/GED required.
Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Length & Type of Experience:
Prior experience in customer service, accounts receivable, cash applications, billing, or collections required.
Position located at the Corporate office - Radnor.
Prior SAP experience is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficient in Google Suite applications, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and financial applications within SAP.

Ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically and professionally.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; adaptable communication style.
