Job summary

Kearney & Company is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team in San Antonio, TX. You will support document gathering, data analysis, and assist in preparing deliverables under supervision.

Responsibilities include performing day-to-day accounting and audit activities, gathering data, and applying Federal Government finance concepts, with a focus on professional conduct and teamwork. Travel up to 50% and clearance are required. CPA desirable.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Business Administration with a major in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Accounting and Auditing Experience.
  • 150 credit hours that are required to be CPA eligible preferred.
  • Awareness and knowledge of Federal Government's financial and management responsibilities preferred.
  • Willing to travel up to 50%.
  • Active Interim Secret Clearance (or higher) to be considered; U.S. citizenship required.
  • CPA highly desirable.

Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $78,000. This range represents base pay only and does not include overtime, company contributions to benefits, or bonuses. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, clearance level, and other factors. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
