Talos is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our fast-growing Financial Operations team. This hands-on role supports core accounting processes, financial reporting, and day-to-day operations in a dynamic digital assets and financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
• Experience supporting financial reporting and close cycles preferred.
• Experience in SaaS, software, or financial services environments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a hands-on, proactive approach.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting/finance ERP (SAGE) systems highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Prepare and record journal entries.
• Record invoices and support the order-to-pay cycle.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in line with US GAAP.
• Support treasury activities as needed.
• Assist in preparing audit support and responding to auditor requests.
• Support system implementations and upgrades, including accounting and finance ERPs.

Accounting Associate

We are seeking an Accounting Associate to join Talos’ fast-growing, tech-focused Financial Operations team. This is a hands-on role supporting core accounting processes, financial reporting, and day-to-day operations. • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
