Job summary

Tarkett Sports, working through Anchor Management Group, is seeking an Accounting Associate to support day-to-day AP/AR and construction billing from the Conshohocken office. You will help manage vendor invoices, match POs, and ensure timely processing within project contracts.

The role requires attention to detail, collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, and participation in month-end close, lien waivers, W-9s, and compliance documentation as needed for construction projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable/payable, preferably in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction billing considered an asset (AIA forms, progress billing, retainage)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, match with purchase orders, and ensure proper approvals.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Maintain accounts payable files and vendor records.
• Create and send customer invoices in accordance with project contracts.
• Track receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Assist with lien waivers, W-9s, and other compliance documentation as required for construction projects.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment issues.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including AP and AR reconciliations.
• Support the accounting team with special projects and audits as needed.
• General office support and administrative duties including but not limited to acquisition of business licenses, office supply orders, office maintenance scheduling.
