Job summary

Green Key Resources is assisting a leading global private equity firm in downtown Chicago's Accounting Associate opening. This hands-on corporate accounting role provides exposure to the deal team, operations, and international entities.

You will manage the general ledger for multiple entities, perform reconciliations, assist with month- and quarter-end closes, review expenses, and support internal reporting and controls. Hybrid schedule in the downtown Chicago office on Tue, Wed, and Thu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 2–5 years of hands-on corporate accounting experience (audit-only backgrounds will not be considered).
• Polished, professional presence and strong communication skills for working with teams across the firm.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and ownership of your work.
• Willingness to learn and use AI tools and new technology.
• Sage Intacct or similar accounting system experience a plus.
• Financial services, asset management or private equity experience a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities
