Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting support, bookkeeping, administrative, or related experience.
• Experience maintaining spreadsheets, financial records, and supporting documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process bank deposits, maintain gift card activity, and prepare related journal entries as the Accounting Assistant.
• Review daily closing documentation and assist with cash report audits to ensure accuracy as the Accounting Assistant.
• Track chargebacks and submit supporting documentation to credit card providers as the Accounting Assistant.
• Report, monitor, and maintain records related to general liability and workers' compensation claims as the Accounting Assistant.
• Maintain insurance records, certificates of insurance, safety inspection documentation, and related reporting as the Accounting Assistant.
• Support accounting and operations teams with financial documentation, administrative tasks, and special projects as the Accounting Assistant.
