Responsibilities

• Process weekly and biweekly payroll for employees with varying pay structures
• Manage accounts payable and coordinate payments to vendors and subcontractors
• Assist with commission calculations, tracking, and payroll adjustments
• Maintain accurate financial records and investigate discrepancies
• Support account reconciliations, job costing, and general accounting tasks
• Cross-train in accounts receivable and other accounting functions to provide team coverage
• Use Excel and accounting software to maintain reports and track financial information
• Respond to payroll and payment questions while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications

• 1+ year of payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience
• Hands-on payroll processing experience, preferably using an HRIS or payroll system
• Comfortable using Excel, including formulas and basic spreadsheet functions
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator who can enforce policies professionally and diplomatically
• Dependable, collaborative, and comfortable handling confidential information
• Sage, isolved, commissions, or job costing experience is a plus
