Job summary

LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau, MN (Business Office) is hiring for an Accounting/Finance support role. The position handles accounts payable, general ledger entries, and month-end close tasks in a 1.0 FTE, dayshift setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting and experience with office accounting preferred.
• Foundation in principles of accounting.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Enter invoices for accounts payable and assist with month-end close.
• Record transactions to the general ledger and print weekly AP checks.
• Back-up for facility receptionist and mail processing; assist with collections.
• Assist patient estimates, collections, and related work orders.
• Verify and prepare credit balances for refunds and process charge slips.
• Support with receipts on patient and resident accounts and basic reporting.

You’re an excellent fit, if you have:

• Associate's degree in Accounting, previous experience in office accounting preferred
• Foundation in principals of accounting
• Ability to work independently
