Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is hiring an Accounting Assistant in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. This position supports daily accounting tasks and assists operational accountants with administrative duties to ensure smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities include processing AP draws, payroll invoicing, and month-end reporting, with a strong focus on accuracy, deadlines, and clear communication within site teams. Full-time, on-site role with competitive benefits.

• Scan deposits to the bank
• Scan bank reconciliation for record-keeping
• Distribute financial draw information
• Conduct and balance monthly AP audits
• Enter biweekly payroll invoices
• Compile month-end reports received from the site teams

Requirements

• Bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
• Must be self-motivated with attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and meet deadlines
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide mathematical figures

Compensation: Full-Time $20.50 to $21.00 per hour
