Job summary

The ideal candidate has an associates or bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong Excel and technology skills, and experience with banking, accounting software, and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in related field required or preferred.
  • Excellent technology skills and ability to learn new systems.
  • Experience with banking, accounting, and accounting software like QuickBooks.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in accounting/budgeting.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with service department admins to optimize workflows and processes.
  • Oversee accounting, reconciliations, and spend management across departments.
  • Manage account management administrative and support functions.
  • Invoicing, processing payments, and recording expenses.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare management reports.
  • Oversee administrative technology and data integrity across platforms.

Position Must Have:
  • Excellent technology skills with an ability to learn and feel comfortable with new systems
  • Ability to help create and manage workflows and processes
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Ability to talk with people, help them solve problems, and assist people in person
  • Experience with banking, accounting, and accounting software, such as Quickbooks
  • Knowledge of basic laws, regulations, best practices and rules of accounting, fund management, and business money management
  • Strong math skills and ability to work with numbers
  • Experience in a long-term care setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to negotiate and solve complicated situations.
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Professional demeanor and attitude, with respect for others' viewpoints and boundaries.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
Required Education, Licenses and Certifications:
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in related field
Job Duties Include:
  • Collaborating closely with service department administrators to create effective workflows and efficient processes
  • Overseeing accounting, reconciling and spending, including developing and streamlining processes between personnel and service departments
  • Oversee administrative and support functions for various account management
  • Invoicing, processing and recording payments, reconciling expenditures, and paying bills
  • Ensuring adherence to regulations, contracts, and internal policies and preparing reports for management across departments
  • Oversee administrative technology and database functions, including data entry, consistency across all platforms and generating reports as requested.
Working Conditions:
  • Base schedule is Monday through Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm in the company's local office
  • Hours and weekly schedule are dictated by current tasks and program needs. Evening and weekend hours may be required
  • Much of the work involves working directly with people, in person, in a collaborative and interactive manner.
