Job summary

Orbiss Inc. is seeking an Accounting and Advisory Manager to lead the accounting department strategy and quality control, coordinating with senior management and clients in a dynamic environment.

You will manage an in-person and remote team, ensure engagement progress meets deadlines, and provide training while upholding integrity and confidentiality. French language skills are a plus; 100% equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Completed at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting as a manager level.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting firm.
• Proven experience in managing multiple client accounts concurrently.
• Ability to meet deadlines or communicate in advance if not doable.
• Autonomy with a strong team spirit.
• Integrity and confidentiality are essential.

• Managing a portfolio of clients and serving as the main point-of-contact, ensuring the client is fully informed of engagement progress and that all deadlines are timely met.


• Managing an in-person and remote team by coordinating the schedule, and participating actively in client meetings and business planning efforts.


• Performing a final quality control check on the team’s accounting reports prepared on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.


• Supporting the team’s collaborators by providing on-the-job training and performance feedback.


• Using technology to continually learn, sharing knowledge with team members, enhancing service delivery, and maintaining cooperative relationships with other engagement teams.

• Completed at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.


• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting as a manager level.


• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting firm.


• Proven experience in managing multiple client accounts concurrently.


• An ability to respect deadlines or communicate in advance if not doable.


• An appeal to work in autonomy but with taste for team' spirit.


• An ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.


• French language or foreign language a plus.
