Job summary

Merrimack College’s Girard School of Business invites applications for a full-time, open-rank faculty position in Accounting beginning Fall 2027. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate Accounting, contribute to the MS in Accounting, and advance applied research in analytics, AI, and technology in accounting.

Collaboration with industry partners and experiential learning are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level qualification or terminal degree by appointment time.
• Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses effectively.
• Active or emerging scholarly agenda addressing practical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate Accounting courses.
• Contribute to development of the M.S. in Accounting and graduate education.
• Maintain an active program of applied scholarship and thought leadership.
• Build collaborations with firms, industry, and external partners.
• Mentor students and engage them in research and projects.
• Contribute to School and Merrimack College initiatives.
