AppDirect is seeking an accounting professional to join a small team reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting. You will handle recurring maintenance tasks and project work to improve processes in a hybrid schedule (one day onsite weekly, four days remote).

Qualificações

• CPA designation or active pursuit in related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite and Salesforce contracts.
• Familiarity with banking/payment portals and audits.

Responsabilidades

• Record economic transactions into the accounting system and platforms.
• Perform month-end close, reconciliations and consolidations.
• Handle tax-related filings such as sales or franchise taxes.
• Assist during audits by coordinating with auditors and providing samples.
• Participate in AR and AP, vendor/customer setup, invoicing, and cash inflows/outflows.
• Process new sales orders and contract setups.
• Manage cash across multiple platforms and support ad hoc requests.
• Communicate with clients and vendors and update reports.

About You

You will be part of a small team (3-5), reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting (PartnerStack Controller). Under your scope, you will have a combination of recurring maintenance tasks (daily/weekly/monthly) which are required to keep the basics of the business operational, as well as project work aimed at meeting various requirements or improving existing processes.

The position offers a hybrid schedule: you will work once a week onsite and four days on remote. Compensation package includes 15 paid working days (PTO) plus local holidays, comprehensive medical coverage (OSDE 310) for you and your dependents, reimbursement for elegible wellness activities, English lessons, global and local events participation, within other benefits.

What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact

• Record all manner of economic transactions into the accounting system and other utilized platforms.
• Perform month-end close operations, including reconciliations and consolidations.
• Handle filing of certain tax-related items, such as sales or franchise taxes.
• Actively aid during audit season, by communicating with auditors and providing samples.
• Participation in AR and AP functions, including follow-ups on delinquents, set up vendors and customers, and record inflows and outflows.
• Process of new sales orders and set up of contracts.
• Cash management across several platforms.
• Assisting other team members and departments with ad hoc requests.
• Communication with external parties, primarily clients and vendors.
• Tracking and updating of numerous figures and reports.

What we’re looking for

• Completed or actively pursuing your CPA designation (or related field).
• 2+ years experience in accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel functions.
• Working knowledge of accounting software, preferably NetSuite.
• Exposure to audits, sales and income tax, and other compliance basics.
• Familiarity with Salesforce contracts (preferred).
• Familiarity with various banking and payment portals (Stripe/Paypal/AirWallex/etc) (preferred).
• Attention to detail and focus while dealing with repetition or large amounts of data.
• Critical mind for analyzing data, spotting trends and anomalies, and establishing connections between events.
