Job summary

Key duties include ledger reconciliation, preparing and analyzing transactions, maintaining controls, and assisting with month-end processes. A Bachelor’s degree or 1+ year of experience is preferred, with opportunities for development within the finance organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years related work experience.
• Experience in corporate accounting environment is preferred.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Ability to work with journal entries and month-end closing.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting activities, including preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements.
• Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
• Control and reconciliation of accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc.).
• Assist with recurring and month-end accounting functions directed toward the processing of transactions.
• Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
• Initiate and support continual process improvements.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
