Job Description:
Accounting Advisory Senior Consultant with Crowe, LLP (Plano, TX)
Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements, give advice, or audit and evaluate statements prepared by others. Responsible for providing financial statement preparation and analysis, accounting process transformation, and accounting standard implementation. Conduct fieldwork, prepare work papers to support conclusions, discuss findings and observations with management, and prepare written reports of various types and formats. Perform accounting research related to trial balance accounts and create written outputs summarizing the application of the accounting guidance to the specified transaction. Advise clients on how to improve and optimize accounting and finance operations and provide other valuable recommendations.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, foreign equivalent or closely related field. Position requires three (3) years of experience in: Auditing accounting records and financial statements; Accounting principles and auditing techniques such as GAAP and PCAOB; Audit risk assessment; Financial Statement Preparation; SEC Reporting requirements; and Complex analysis of large data sets, transactions or regulations or standards. Must be eligible to sit for CPA examination.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,500.00 - $157,600.00 per year.
