The University of Texas at San Antonio invites applications for the part-time, fixed-term track Lecturer position in the Alvarez College of Business, Department of Accounting. The role is on-campus in San Antonio with evening courses possible for the Fall 2026 term.

Qualified applicants will hold a Master’s degree (or higher) in the teaching discipline or related field, with 18 graduate hours, and have five years of teaching or relevant experience in accounting, tax, or audit.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or related field; 18 graduate hours in teaching discipline.
• Five years of teaching and/or work experience in accounting, tax, and audit.
• Ability to teach locally on UT San Antonio main campus in San Antonio.
• Evening classes may be offered, with courses taught throughout the day.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage the class syllabus and ensure it meets department and college standards.
• Plan and create lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments.
• Assess grades for students based on participation, performance in class, assignments, and examinations.
• Assist/mentor students as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
