Job summary

Columbia State Community College is seeking a part-time accounting faculty member to teach on a per-semester basis across Columbia and Williamson campuses, with up to nine credit hours each term. The position requires a Master's in Accounting (or related field with 18 graduate hours in Accounting) or CPA with a BS in Accounting; teaching or higher education experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for courses as assigned and adhere to departmental syllabi and course outcomes.
• Begin and end all classes as scheduled.
• Organize, assign, and supervise learning activities in classes.
• Maintain academic standards and classroom behavior; evaluate students and inform scores.
• Maintain attendance/participation records and grades.
• Respond to Columbia State email and student inquiries promptly.
• Meet deadlines for administrative requests.
