Pay: 70k-90k depending on experience. 2 openings

We are a rapidly growing contractor in the Bay area with four local divisions within our company and ~330 employees.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting - Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing all accounts payable transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role will support our ongoing financial operations and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Prepare and process expense reports for employees according to company policy.
• Oversee payment processing and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Utilize Paycom financial data entry and record-keeping.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and vendor communications.
• Provide support during audits by ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
• Familiarity with reconciliation processes and expense reporting.
• Proficient in payment processing and financial software, particularly PAYCOM and STAMPLY
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse vendors.
