Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accountant in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, to join a regional manufacturing/construction company. The role involves close collaboration with the President on month-end close, budgeting, and implementing new accounting procedures.

Ideal candidates have an Associate's degree in accounting and at least 1 year of accounting experience. Manufacturing background is preferred but not required; strong communication and problem solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1+ years accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with President on month/year end close procedures.
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting.
• Assist with the implementation of new accounting procedures.
• AR and AP reconciliations.
• Assist with department goal setting.
• Maintain fixed asset registers.
• Analyze and reconcile the general ledger accounts related to inventory.
• Provide support for other accounting functions when needed.
