This position is responsible for overseeing department financials within Planning and Construction under general supervision of the Assistant Director of Business and Administrative Services. The successful candidate must be able to determine the necessary actions related to budget development and monitoring, accounts receivable and payable, establishment and review of encumbrances, capital improvement projects monitoring, and year‑end closing. The successful candidate must also have the ability to work in a collaborative, deadline‑driven environment with multiple projects and changing priorities; maintain a disciplined, organized approach to all aspects of their work. Additionally, the applicant must be reliable and accurate on the job. This position will directly engage in the delivery of the day to day operations of the department and support driving the Planning and Construction service‑oriented mission of providing university clients with high‑quality professional services through the management and delivery of projects and the processes required for high‑quality department administrative services to deliver these professional services.
Grade 30, Step 1, salary $52,722.00. In accordance with Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) 284.170, initial appointments to classified positions typically begin at Step 1 of the assigned grade. A “Step” refers to the specific rate of pay within a grade, as determined by the Division of Human Resources.
