Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team. You will prepare and enter journal entries in Oracle, perform month-end close tasks, and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in our casino environment.

You will interact with other departments, cross-train with staff accountants, and contribute to documenting and improving internal controls and processes, including processing W-2G forms.

Qualifications

• Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation Gaming License (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in an office environment with general ledger software (preferred).
• Proficient with Excel.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and perform light office tasks (preferred).
• Organized, detail oriented and able to work with little supervision (preferred).

Qualifications

• Occasionally walk, reach, and lift in the use of the photocopy machine (preferred)
• Occasionally reach, bend, and lift boxes weighing up to 20lbs. (preferred)
• Constantly attend to details, sit, talk, hear, reach, eye/hand coordination, hand and wrist motion and manual dexterity in writing and in the use of telephone, 10-key calculator keypad and computer keyboard (preferred)
• Must be able to communicate well with others and work as a team (preferred)
• Must be organized, detail oriented and able to work with little supervision (preferred)
• Must be proficient with various computer programs including Excel (preferred)
• Must be able to use general office equipment (fax, personal computer, and telephone) (preferred)
• Must have one to three years of experience in an office environment and working with general ledger software. (preferred)
