Job summary

Recordati Rare Diseases, Inc. (RRD) in the United States is seeking an Accountant to support month-end close for four entities across US and Canada, including intercompany, payroll and cash activities.

You will work with the global controlling team and external payroll provider to ensure proper accounting treatments. Responsibilities include validating sales transactions, invoicing, Medicaid accruals, intercompany reconciliations, and assisting with audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or higher.
• 2–5 years in an Accounting function.
• CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP; IFRS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Validate and record monthly sales transactions and invoicing.
• Record sales receipts, including chargebacks and fees.
• Calculate and invoice royalty income/expenses.
• Track Medicaid payments and prepare accrual analysis.
• Coordinate with payroll provider for month-end entries.
• Record intercompany transactions and balances.
• Assist with accounts payable and month-end accruals.
• Participate in annual audit and ad hoc analyses.
