Job summary

Recordati Rare Diseases, Inc. (RRD) is seeking an Accountant to support month-end close, intercompany, payroll and cash across US entities and Canada. This role is based in Bridgewater, NJ, with collaboration across finance and operations to ensure accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting, 2–5 years of experience, CPA preferred, and strong GAAP knowledge. Proficiency in Excel, SAP, Hyperion, and Concur is required; pharmaceutical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
• 2-5 years' experience in an Accounting function.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, knowledge of IFRS a plus.
• Experience working within an international organization across locations/time zones and currencies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP, Hyperion, and Concur.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Validate and record monthly sales transactions and invoicing customers.
• Record sales receipts, including chargebacks and other fees.
• Calculate and invoice royalty income and royalty expenses.
• Track monthly Medicaid payments and prepare Medicaid accrual analysis.
• Partner with external payroll provider to obtain month-end payroll entries and review.
• Record intercompany transactions with global counterparts.
• Prepare and reconcile intercompany balances for month end.
• Prepare account balance detail forms for corporate reporting.
• Assist with recording cash transactions across 3 entities.
• Assist in pharmacovigilance reporting of sales/units data.
• Support annual audit with requested documentation.
• Adhoc analyses as required.
