We are looking for an Accountant to join our APAC Lease and Revenue Accounting team.

Responsibilities:
  • Leasing
  • Assist with accounting for leasing transactions in compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, including accounting standards (both US GAAP and IFRS), company policies, and internal control standards.
  • Review and analyze lease contracts and prepare accounting impact analysis.
  • Prepare journal entries for posting, flux analysis, and reconciliations as needed.
  • Assist with financial audit PBC requests for quarterly financial review and annual audit for SEC reporting and local statutory requirements.
  • Revenue
  • Assist with review of customer contracts to determine revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 and prepare accounting memos/write-ups to document revenue treatment.
  • Review and analyze revenue/bad debt reserves files and prepare journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform reconciliations of revenue-related general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and implement resolutions.
  • Others
  • Prepare ASC 842 and ASC 606 financial disclosures for SEC filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support collaboration with upstream data owners, auditors, and Global Process Managers to resolve accounting matters.
  • Engage in special projects as needed, applying analytical skills and accounting expertise to strategic initiatives and ad hoc challenges.
What you should have

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • 1+ years of accounting experience.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of US GAAP or IFRS preferred.
  • Prior experience in lease and/or revenue accounting is a plus.
  • Open to candidates with audit background with no lease/revenue experience.
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
