Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking an Accountant Lead in Parsippany, NJ, offering a hybrid work arrangement. The role emphasizes general ledger integrity, account reconciliations, accruals, and tax support within a multi-entity environment.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in accounting or finance, 5+ years of accounting experience (2+ in a senior role), strong GAAP knowledge, ERP proficiency (Syteline a plus), and excellent Excel skills. SOX experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior-level role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Proficient with ERP systems (Syteline experience is a plus).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review A/P payments for alignment with the Corporate IT AP Matrix.
• Record, reconcile, manage, and forecast Prepaid activity for three companies.
• Manage all copier lease agreements and coordinate with external vendors for leases, renewals, and installations.
• Reconcile, analyze, and forecast lease accounting activities per ASC 842.
• Conduct Actual vs Budget analysis and assist with semi-annual true up.
• Prepare and submit tax packages and SOX self-assessments.
• Participate in annual budget process and monthly forecast submissions.
