Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field - or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and advanced analytical skills.
• Experience in a mid-to-large organization; financial institution or credit union experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations, reporting cycles, and financial processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing quarterly Call Reports and support leadership review processes.
• Prepare and support multiple annual tax filings and compliance efforts.
• Drive timely and accurate close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage GL account reconciliations and fixed assets with precision.
• Monitor daily cash position and approve fund transfers.
• Prepare key financial reports and contribute to modeling.
• Provide documentation and support for audits and examinations.
• Train accounting team members and support cross-training efforts.
