Job summary

Hard Rock International is seeking an Accountant II to support our finance team in New York. The role focuses on payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close activities.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for timely, accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least five years of accounting experience, with proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Infinium ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum five (5) years of accounting experience.
• Experience with payroll reconciliations and inter-company transactions.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles payroll tax and benefit liability accounts and performs variance analysis.
• Prepares and posts complex journal entries to the General Ledger.
• Assists with month-end and year-end close processes and inter‑company billing.
• Collaborates with payroll and internal teams to resolve variances and provide documentation.
