Responsibilities

• Reconciles balance sheet accounts to the general ledger for month- and year-end processes.
• Maintains account reconciliations and journal entry procedures.
• Posts journal entries and prepares reports and schedules for month and year-end closings.
• Analyses journal entries and their impact on financial statements.
• Assists with budgeting processes and audit requests as needed.
• Suggests process improvements for assigned tasks.
• Tests system upgrades related to accounting duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
