Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting or equivalent work-related experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial statement analysis and/or accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft computer products and experience with ERP accounting software.
• Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.

Responsibilities

• Tracks and updates fixed asset records, including transferring them to the rental fleet, acquiring, and disposing.
• Leads the monthly close process including but not limited to recurring journal entries, allocations etc.
• Performs reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Assists in preparing external financial reports as required by manufacturers and census bureaus for the products and industries we represent.
• Assists Controller with preparation of quarterly and annual financial statement.
• Facilitates the fixed asset and inventory portion of the annual financial statement audit.
• Assists in sales tax filings and exemptions.
