Job summary

Dexian is seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant in Tampa, FL to lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, manage complex journal entries, and ensure accurate consolidated financial statements. You will perform reconciliations, support technical accounting areas, and work with SAP ECC to maintain reporting processes.

You will collaborate with plant and corporate teams, support SOX controls and internal audits, and drive process improvements in a dynamic, global services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
• Experience with General Ledger accounting, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, financial consolidations, complex journal entries, financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience working within SAP ECC.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and review complex journal entries and general ledger transactions.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain account integrity.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reporting.
• Support technical accounting for pensions, environmental/PBO accounting, stock compensation, derivatives, and other complex accounting matters.
• Assist with external audits, SOX compliance, and internal control testing.
• Prepare financial analyses and ad hoc reporting for leadership.
• Maintain and support SAP ERP financial reporting processes.
• Research accounting guidance (IFRS and U.S. GAAP) and recommend appropriate accounting treatments.
• Partner with plant and corporate accounting teams to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements and increased efficiency.
