A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. is seeking a dedicated finance professional to serve as the OneStream SME and lead consolidation and monthly close processes. You will administer the OneStream platform, manage data loads, run validations, and produce accurate financial reports for leadership and auditors.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2–4 years of accounting experience. You will collaborate with subsidiary accounting teams and ensure timely submission of financial information.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 2–4 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Experience with OneStream and financial close processes is preferred.
• Ability to prepare journal entries and reconciliations and support schedules.

Responsabilités

• Manage monthly close and consolidation, data loads, validations, eliminations, and reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Consolidation & Financial Close

• Serve as the primary OneStream subject matter expert (SME) and point of contact for Finance users.
• Administer and maintain the OneStream application, including metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, workflows, security, business rules, forms, reports, and data integrations.
• Manage OneStream monthly close and consolidation processes, including data loads, validations, consolidations, eliminations, and reporting.
• Review consolidation results for accuracy, completeness, and unusual activity.
• Troubleshoot system and data issues and coordinate with IT, consultants, and/or OneStream support as needed.
• Coordinate with subsidiary accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial information.
• Manage user access, security roles, and workflow assignments.
• Research and provide accounting guidance as needed.

Monthly Financial Reporting

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules as assigned.
• Analyze financial results, including actual versus budget, forecast, and prior-period variances, and explain results and trends to business leaders.
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reporting packages and management reports, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and delivered according to established deadlines.
• Serve as the liaison between external auditors and internal leaders, including preparation of the annual audit report and related reporting requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or university and two to four years of progressively responsible experience in the accounting industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, fractions, ratios, proportions, and percentages and apply these concepts to practical situations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
