Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an Accountant II to perform general ledger, reinsurance accounting, and month-end close tasks. The role supports internal controls and statutory reporting requirements.

The candidate will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules, while coordinating with audit requests and monthly close activities. Strong Excel and Oracle skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Excellent PC skills, with a strong background in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills to multi-task under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in Oracle, Property/Casualty insurance industry, insurance accounting, or IFRS accounting a plus.
