You will support monthly close, reconciliations, and budget tasks while contributing to audit preparation and internal control improvements. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting-adjacent field, with at least one year of accounting experience, and strong skills in Windows, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration with emphasis in accounting is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of accounting experience is essential.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, Excel, and Word (Microsoft Office).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective interactions.
• Ability to understand complex instructions and data processing applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly reconciliations of portions of the general ledger.
• Perform monthly close activities, enter journal entries and reclassifications.
• Collaborate with accounting leadership on budget responsibilities.
• Assist in preparation of work papers for the annual audit.
• Fill in for vacant positions in the Accounting Department as needed.
• Review and analyze fiscal procedures to support internal controls.
