The Oklahoma State Auditor and Inspector’s Office is looking for an Accountant I to join our team. As an Accountant I, you’ll be an important part of that team.
You’ll work with accounting information, employee records, billing, travel, fleet operations, financial systems, and administrative processes. You’ll also work with audit teams and agency leadership, giving you exposure to a broad range of financial and operational activities.
This is more than entering numbers into a system. Your attention to detail helps our agency operate effectively and deliver on its mission.
Working with the Deputy State Auditor and Comptroller, you’ll provide accounting, financial, and operational support across the agency.
We’re looking for someone who is accurate, organized, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of their work.
Preferred skills include:
Three years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, office management, or a related field is preferred, particularly experience involving state government.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, with one year of college substituting for one year of required experience.
