Job summary

You will reconcile accounts, verify proper approvals, investigate discrepancies, and help standardize processes as the company grows.

Qualifications

What You'll Actually Do

• Reconcile Financial Records: Perform reconciliation of accounts and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and proper inclusion in financial statements.
• Ensure Compliance: Verify proper completion, approval, and adherence to departmental guidelines and procedures for all accounting entries.
• Investigate Discrepancies: Participate in the research and resolution of any discrepancies found during review and assist other departments with general ledger entry corrections.
• Provide Accounting Guidance: Offer direction and guidance to advance employee knowledge of company policies and assist other areas by responding to questions and resolving problems.
• Optimize Processes & Policies: Collaborate with Management to maintain current business processes, stay updated on accounting and First Horizon Bank's policies, and assist in communicating improvements and changes.
