Job summary

Child & Family Guidance Center is seeking an Accountant to analyze complex financial records, reconcile accounts, and prepare statements for the North Texas clinics. The role focuses on inputting, reconciling, processing invoices, reimbursements, and bank transactions, with duties extending to audits and process improvements.

The position requires a Bachelor's in accounting, 3–5 years of GL experience, and strong Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a working knowledge of US GAAP is required.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including SAGE, VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables and QuickBooks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger reconciliations for all accounts.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Analyze general ledger or budget-to-actual reports as directed by CFO.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Assist with the annual external audit.
• Improve accounting processes by creating useful reports for management.
