Responsibilities

• Preparation of day to day bookkeeping for the companies under responsibility in the ERP system.
• Responsible for the approval flow of all invoices through the procurement system.
• Checking intercompany balances.
• Ensuring that all relevant agreements are in place before processing any payment.
• Ensuring accuracy of accounts payable and communicating with suppliers as needed.
• Proposing and initiating improvements in the ERP as needed.
• Monitoring supplier costs and reporting variances over the period.
• Executing payments in line with Group payment dates.
• Filing all bills, bank statements, receipts and agreements.
• Building monthly cash planning and ensuring that the monthly plan is followed.
• Updating the payment reports for suppliers with classification by cost nature.
• Managing any ad‑hoc projects that may be requested.
• Preparing monthly VAT returns and quarterly reports.
• Preparing and filing statistical reports.

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting.
• Native or near‑native German language proficiency.
• Previous experience using ERP systems.
• Business Central knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

• Good knowledge of Excel.
