Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Management Inc. in Bingham Farms, MI is seeking an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from payments and expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The role supports month-end closings, financial statements and tax calculations to ensure accurate reporting.

Ideal candidates will have GAAP knowledge, strong Excel skills with pivot tables, and hands-on QuickBooks experience. A BSc in Accounting/Finance is required, with CPA/CMA as a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables.
• Experience with general ledger functions.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Publish financial statements on time
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity

• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
