Art and Wellness Enterprises (AWE) is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations at our Bentonville, AR on-site location. The role involves accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and assisting with financial reporting and audits.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, and strong analytic and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years accounting experience including reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, financial controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reconciliations to support general ledger accuracy.
• Post periodic journal entries and close tasks (month-end, quarter-end, year-end).
• Support financial statements, management reports, and board materials.
• Develop and maintain process documentation for accounting activities.
• Assist tax and audit preparation with external partners.
