Job summary

Applied Composites in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Accountant to join the accounting team and assist with AR and AP compliance and to report financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow.

The role ensures GAAP compliance and government requirements, maintains ledgers, supports monthly close, and prepares reconciliations. 2–5 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with AR/AP processes and GAAP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain AR and AP in compliance with terms and GAAP.
• Prepare and report financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Manage general ledger subledgers and monthly journal entries.
• Participate in monthly close and reconciliations.
• Ensure governmental filings and compliance requirements are met.
