Job summary

Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Ocoee Turnpike division requires an Accountant to support GAAP financial reporting and closing processes. The role involves preparing accruals, adjusting entries, and analyzing pre-closing trial balances for accuracy, ensuring compliance with DOT and DFS requirements.

The candidate will review capital project costs, reclassify as fixed assets, and document procedures.

• Preparation and presentation of the Turnpike System's financial information as required by GAAP, the Department of Transportation (Department) and the Department of Financial Services (DFS) requirements.
• Assist with the Turnpike's year-end and mid-year financial reporting closing processes.
